AGI Approved Gunsmithing Service Center!

There are many aspects to standard firearms repair services offered by a skilled gunsmith in Kentucky, including, but not limited to, the following: Mechanical and Safety Inspection, Full Disassembly, Clean and Oil, Removal of Barrel Obstructions/Stuck Chokes, Shotgun Barrel Dent Removal, Barrel Replacement and Fitting, Action/Trigger Repairs and Tuning, Manufacture of Unavailable Parts and Springs, Sight/Scope Installation and Bore Sighting, and Flintlock and Percussion Firearm Repair or Tuning.
There are myriad possibilities of what may need to be corrected on a broken firearm, or upgrades that a customer may want to have done by a local gunsmith.
Sometimes your firearm needs a facelift! Not all firearm repairs that come into the shop are mechanical failures. I often have clients who bring in firearms that have been well loved. Many guns have seen long and hard usage in the field, sometimes over several generations. Stock finishes wear through, bluing can wear off, and rust attacks metal parts over the course of a firearm’s working life. Accidents afield can result in broken stocks, dented barrels, and other forms of damage. Most of the time, giving a gun a make-over can extend its life for a few more generations and improve its aesthetic appeal. I often get new firearms in from clients who want to have their guns restocked with higher grade wood, checkering, and/or carving. Additionally, I can bed actions, install pillars, or add an adjustable recoil pad for their trap shotgun.
As an FFL Approved dealer, I am able to facilitate the purchase and transfer of firearms.
I receive several requests every month from customers looking to buy firearms from distant gun dealers or through various online firearms auction houses. Due to shipping restrictions on firearms, only a licensed Federal Firearms License holder can ship and accept delivery for these purchases.
I can also assist you in searching for and ordering new firearms from several manufacturers through firearms dealers. It's important to note that the shipping restrictions do not apply to individuals wanting to send in a firearm for repair or customization.
